Honors Program

The Honors Program is designed to provide the richest possible collegiate experience to intellectually-gifted and highly-motivated undergraduate students. Honors students are involved in challenging academics, a personalized collegiate environment, a community designed for individual, social, and cultural development, and engagement and leadership beyond the classroom.

Campus change students may apply to begin as Honors students in their sophomore or junior years. Sophomore Honors students typically enroll in one or two Honors courses each semester that may meet general education requirements or serve as prerequisite courses in their majors. To graduate as an Honors Scholar, a student completes junior- and senior-level Honors work in his/her major including an Honors thesis.
